Critical Response

Hello world.

It’s been just over a week now, and in tracking the sales of May 5 & The Assassin, it’s come to my attention that I NEED REVIEWS. So, I don’t know if there’s some fancy way of doing this, or if I’m supposed to be querying everybody out there that considers themselves an ‘eBook reviewer’, but I need some folk to review my humble little release. You would be helping in the exposure of the eBook — as well as myself, obviously.

I’m looking for reviews (real reviews, not three sentences scrawled under a funky post title that really doesn’t do anyone any good) for Smashwords, Goodreads and preferably, Amazon. I’ll also post them on my site. Positive or negative (sigh), truly I want the truth.

What’s in it for you? Well, a free copy of May 5 & The Assassin. It’s 23k words long, so not too crazy in length, it’s got some punch, some spunk and a little swearing… just a little, honest. You’ll also be the envy of your friends, I’ll owe you one, and um… did I say a FREE copy of my first book? I mean, when I’m like all successful and stuff, you’ll be able to say: “Hey, I reviewed his first book for him. Aren’t I cool?” Or something.

You get the point.

Thanks in advance to any that offer, and enjoy your weekend.

You might try submitting some review copies to indie friendly book bloggers. Simon Royle has a nice list of them: http://www.simon-royle.com/indie-reviewers/

    Hey,

Yes, Paul Salvette suggested the same site, which I have come across before also. I may have to bite the pro-active button and do that, as I’ve had very little interest in my shout out.

This indie author thing is nice and busy isn’t it? No easy passes (kind of nice in a way). But man, I don’t think I’ve done much else since I started on this bandwagon ;)
