The Beginning of Book 2

What a fruitful day. Yesterday I wanted to get through March feeling accomplished, and I’ve certainly started in the right fashion. Granted, I was off work today. But aside from that, I know I can be productive between work, family and… oh, sleep. I’m feeling good about Only Shadows Ahead, as I’ve completed the first scene of chapter one, and it went really well. The words flowed more than they have recently, and in deciding to write in 1st person POV, it’s giving me a new experience that feels so much more,  oh I don’t know. But it feels good — refreshing, like I’m living it and not just telling it. I also managed to get down over a thousand words for episode eight of May 5 & The Assassin, which I really didn’t think I would. I was tired before I even started it, and what I had from the last time I’d opened the doc wasn’t great. So I wiped it and started again.

Tomorrow I hope to begin editing  ‘Ran Red and get back to my second book.

Only Shadows Ahead: 1,147 words (Scene)

May 5 & The Assassin: 1,139 words (Episode)

Total:  2,286

    Hey Lori!

Thanks for reading the serial, and thanks for the positive feedback. I’m enjoying the process as it’s new to me, somewhat akin to a movie vs. a TV show I guess.

    Hopefully Ep8 won’t disappoint!
