I’m alive, honest!

It’s been way too long since I’ve posted about any­thing. Truth be told, I just got very wrapped up in other things, includ­ing edit­ing And The Stars Ran Red as well as doing some free­lance arti­cle writ­ing for a gam­ing mag­a­zine. On top of this, the usual has con­tin­ued: work­ing full-time, being dad, being hus­band, being slightly more insane as each day passes by.

Any­way! The first draft of my man­u­script is com­plete — well 95% com­plete.  I have writ­ten it, and finally fin­ished edit­ing it for the first time. I under­stand that, by look­ing at it, I have to go over it again to make sure I am absolutely com­fort­able with the twists and turns, the sen­tences, the dia­logue and every­thing in between. It’s the sec­ond big step towards fin­ish­ing my book and being com­fort­able enough (is that pos­si­ble?) to send it out.

I’ll have to find an excerpt to throw up on this here weblog. I’ll get to that, within two months — PROMISE!

Out­side of the edit­ing, though really I’m excited about that and I’m already con­sid­er­ing my next book (it’s been knock­ing around my head, but I’ve had to put it on hold… that has been hard), I have put up a Word­Press blog on my web­site. I think I’ll be switch­ing over to it shortly, so I’ll keep any­one who’s read­ing posted.
