WBM: Arbiture — Mock-Up Book Cover II">WBM: Arbiture — Mock-Up Book Cover II

So I did it again. In an effort to get some creative juices flowing (and on the back of writing Year of The Lost II I was ready to do something). I went ahead and tossed out a couple more mock-ups. My wife will likely roll her eyes and wonder why I’m not writing, but to that I say… well, I like art too.

The red is a little more ‘romantic’ I feel, and I like the words down the middle but the black version has something about it too. Whatever aye? When you get published you usually have little say in the cover of your novel so I’m not attached to either — just a bit of fun.

I prefer the second one over the first. The first looks way too cluttered. And don’t you hate it when you get distracted like this? Well not hate because art is fun too, but you know what I mean.

I agree, the second is a little simpler and the contrast helps emphasize it all.

Yes, I do sometimes regret the time spent on extra-curricular (non-writing) things. But then we can’t always write, write, write.

I don’t want to be printing press ;)

i like the 2nd one as well; it’s striking.

    Thanks.

Nothing like a contrasting black and white cover to sell your as yet unwritten book…
