PC: Fail">Windows / PC: Fail

Yet another entry not of the prose persuasion. I apologise to myself more than anyone because I truly want to write, and over the last few days I have certainly felt the inspiration but then my PC went plop.

I could have written on our second computer — a far superior MacBook — but that would have been neglecting my duties to sort out the regular, desktop PC (as well as the usual chores that are a little more piled up than usual.)

I attemped to simply find a way for a couple of media devices to communicate and the PC simply… stopped. Best of all? I wanted to enter into Safe Mode (anyone semi-PC-savvy knows it well), however the Dos function of the computer does not recognise USB keyboards, genius! Only a good 70% of keyboards out there are USB, why would anyone think to include the reading of such a port? Duh…

So, anyway. Long, no — LONG — story short and two, maybe three-days later and I think I have the PC in good health. It’s a lot less full than previously as I had to format the HD (the programs stopped working and I think the stupid Windows removed the installation files but left the programs… another bit of installation genius.)

That’s about it. My eyes feel like they need rinsing out, I feel like I’ve been working two-days straight, and for a weekend, I do not feel relaxed in the slightest! Wtf… lame.
