Well I hoped to be post­ing some new writ­ing, but for some rea­son I just can’t seem to get any­thing down. It’s espe­cially annoy­ing as I have had a cou­ple of hours to myself — free from the world out­side — and yet they have amounted to every­thing bar fic­tion, poetry, prose, literature…

So I thought I would just post what is new on this here blog:

To the left (about two-thirds down) is a new media player sup­plied by Yahoo. It’s quite handy, and feel free to check it out for ‘mood’ music to play whilst read­ing. Sur­pris­ing actu­ally, for me Yahoo has always been pretty point­less so it’s cool to see some­thing they made that I want to use.

To the right — below the net links and above my but­tons — there is a Necrol­ogy wid­get that plays reg­u­larly pub­lished online e-format shorts. Scroll to browse, click to read more.

Finally, if you look to the address bar I have a lit­tle pic­ture besides my blog address. This is called a Fav­i­con, which is short for ‘Favourites Icon’. It usu­ally holds secu­rity infor­ma­tion when brows­ing sen­si­tive infor­ma­tion web­sites, or sim­ply allows you to book­mark eas­ily. Mine has no rel­e­vant infor­ma­tion con­tained within, but it does give me some inde­pen­dence from Blogspot, heh.
