So, I was check­ing out Grant Gould’s web­site a day or two ago and I came across a funky lit­tle exer­cise which shows you how to draw a Jawa. Now, it’s sup­posed to be for kids, but my 8yr old wasn’t find­ing it easy (so it can’t be THAT easy, right? RIGHT!?).

Any­way, I took pen­cil to paper for the first proper time in some years and this is how my ama­teur­ish, Grant Gould-guided Jawa turned out from sketch to Photoshopped.

I have no idea if it looks any good, but from the eye that I do have (just an expres­sion, I do have two eyes) it looks pretty good for some­one who only doo­dles as a past-time.
